The mission of JCL always was, and still is, to promote the industrial and economic welfare of the City of Jacksonville by entertaining visiting dignitaries and businessman with boat cruises on the St. Johns River. The boats utilized for these cruises are privately owned yachts and are operated and crewed by members of the club.

The JCL usually meets once a month for a business meeting and lunch to enjoy speakers from local business and government organizations about subjects that affect Jacksonville, pleasure boating and the St. Johns River. The JCL has approximately sixty members and is managed and organized by a Board of Directors and a number of committees.

All new membership proposals must be coordinated by John Kirby, Rear Commodore for Membership.  Please contact Rear Commodore Kirby on his cell at 904.387.9798 or with his email at johnkirby@jkirby.com to initiate and complete the membership process.
